45.04 LAMC (Truancy) -juvenile (under 18),
unsupervised between 8:30-1:30 hours on school days.
EDUCATION CODE
48260. (a) Any pupil subject to compulsory full-time education or to
compulsory continuation education who is absent from school without
valid excuse three full days in one school year or tardy or absent
for more than any 30-minute period during the school day without a
valid excuse on three occasions in one school year, or any
combination thereof, is a truant and shall be reported to the
attendance supervisor or to the superintendent of the school
district.
LAMC 45.04
(a) Truancy. It is unlawful for any minor under the age of 18, who
is subject to compulsory education or to compulsory continuation
education, alone or in concert with others, be present in or upon
the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, or
other public grounds, public places, public buildings, places of
amusement and eating places, vacant lots or any place open to the
public during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. of the same day
on days when said minor’s school is in session.

45.03 LAMC (Curfew) - 2200 hrs. to sunrise,
unsupervised.
303(a) PC -Loitering to beg or solicit customer to purchase
alcoholic beverage.
308(b)PC -Receive (possess) tobacco.
374.4 PC -Littering on public or private property.
415 (1) PC -Disturbing the peace. Fighting or
challenging to fight in a public place.
415 (2) PC -Disturbing the peace with loud or
unreasonable noise.
415 (3) PC -Disturbing the peace. Using Offensive words
in public which are likely to provoke immediate violent
reaction.
490.1 PC -Petty theft under $50.00.
594(a)(1) PC -Vandalism with liquid or paint.
594.1(b) PC -Purchase by minor of an aerosol container
of paint more than 6oz. Net weight.
594.1(d) PC -Possession of aerosol container of paint
(any weight) in plain view in a posted public place.
594.1 (e) PC -Juvenile in possession of aerosol container
of paint more than 6oz.
602.8 PC –Entry of a fenced property with out
permission.
640.5 PC –Graffiti public vehicle.
647(c)PC – Obstruct sidewalk or street.
647(f)PC –Public drunkness.
647(h)PC –Loiter, prowl, or wander upon private
property.
647(I)PC –Peeping, prowling.
653.22PC –Loiter with intent to commit prostitution.
25658B&P –Minor consuming alcohol.
25658.5B&P –Minor attempt to purchase alcohol.
25661B&P –Use or possess false ID.
25662B&P –Minor possessing alcohol.
11532(a) –Loiter as lookout or sell narcotics, etc.
21212(a)VC –Bicycle safety helmet required under 18
years of age.
JUVENILE VEHICLE CODES
21212 VC (Bike Safety Helmet)-Required under 18yrs
when riding on street or bike path.
21955 VC (Jaywalking)-Between signal controlled
intersections.
23136 VC (Driving under the influence)-Under 21
years, .01 or over b.a.c measured by PAS.
23140 (a) VC (Driving under the influence)-Under 21
years, .05 or over b.a.c measured.
